Interesting technique or dumb mistake?

I processed some HDR tests in batch mode and the attached picture was generated as a result of a mismatch of number of files in my folder.
I can see I could do more fine tuning of the mix by using layers in Photoshop. I might try some more images like this because I think it looks really cool. What do others think?

Heatwave

Don't know what any other graduates are doing but I've tried to keep active especially since the weather's getting warmer! This Heatwave is a rap artist that my step-son is producing. I set up the flourescent light studio like Marc did in our model shoot, then post processed the hell out of it.
